Just a few updates for the week:
Thanks to everyone to attended the Recognition Night last night! It was a wonderful event as usual. A special thank you to the Blaufuss family for chairing the event, They did a wonderful job, and I know a lot of hard work went into it.
Next up on our dance card is the “Strut’N Our Strings” event on Thursday, May 8. This is the all city orchestra concert for this year. We will be providing snack and dinner for all of the students participating in this event. We could use some hands to help serve the dinner from 5:00-6:00. We are also in need of baked goods to serve the students for dessert. If you are interested in helping out with either of these tasks please let me know.
Our next NOBOB meeting is Monday, May 12, at 7pm at the N.O. Library. This is our annual meeting where we will be voting on the new slate of officers for the upcoming year. If anyone is interested in becoming an executive officer, please contact a member of the nominating committee. (Lynne Furin, Muffy Wheatley, and Carey Whitehouse.)
