Kickin’ It with Kenny
“Kickin’ It with Kenny” is this Friday, October 6. Inspection is at 5:00 AM. NOBOB is providing fruit bars and bottles of water. If you can do so, you should encourage your student to eat before they arrive at NOHS.
The students should be back at NOHS in time for lunch.
Senior Night
This Friday, October 6, is Senior Night. We are the home team at North Ridgeville playing North Ridgeville. While we are the home team, we will be sitting on the visitors side of the field. Mr. Kalish and Mrs. Kovach informed us that a revised letter to Senior parents will be forthcoming. Be sure to ask your students for it.
NOBOB Meeting
The next NOBOB meeting will be on Monday, October 9, in the basement meeting room at the North Olmsted Branch of the Cuyahoga County Library. The meeting starts at 7:00 p.m. and ends no later than 8:45 p.m.
Two Bucks Fundraiser
The tickets for the fundraiser on October 15 were distributed on Monday, October 2. If you did not receive your tickets, please check with your student. Money for the Tickets should be returned next Wednesday, October 11. Also, any unsold tickets should be returned at that time. Tickets will be available at the door, but the price at the door is $25/ticket.
For every ticket sold, $5 will be put into the selling student’s account. Remember this is a trip year for Orchestra/Wind Ensemble. Student accounts can be used to offset the cost of the trip or to pay for accessories or membership fees.
We are still looking for donations of baskets or basket items. Donations can be dropped off any Wednesday in the Hall during mandatory rehearsals.
Coupon Books
Coupon book pick-up is also next Wednesday, October 11, in the Hall, between 6 and 8 p.m.
Halloween Candy
And, since you are coming to the Band Hall on October 11 to drop off your Two Bucks funds and pick up your coupon books, feel free to drop off a bag of candy. We will be distributing on the last Wednesday of Band Rehearsal, October 25.
