The theme for the 2017 North Olmsted Homecoming is “Honoring Hometown Heroes” and the North Olmsted Community Council (NOCC) is sponsoring an essay contest for kids from elementary grades through high school. NOBOB is a member of the NOCC, the civic umbrella organization that, among other things, sponsors the Homecoming parade and festival. The information and entry form is available at the link below.

Community Council is also providing 2×6 inch wood plaques for anyone to record the name of their hero, for a nominal fee. These small plaques will be strung together and displayed in the Big Tent.
The parade is on Sunday – 8/27 – and all four branches of the U.S. military are being honored.
