Parents of Eagle Marching Band Members,
Since after school SOAR has been reinstated this year, we wanted to take a moment and let you know that we are once again having our after school run through with the band and Eaglets on Friday’s. This run-through begins at 3:15 and is done by 3:45 (usually it is only 15-20 minutes). If you are planning on picking up your child after school prior to football games, know they will be out after our run-through. This is our last chance before a game to run our show with the Eaglets (since we only rehearse together on Wednesdays).
I also wanted to take a moment and apologize for letting the band out late a few times this season. Sometimes announcements go longer then expected. We will do our best to let the students out of rehearsal by the scheduled time, and please know that if your child needs to leave exactly at that time, they may leave without consequence. If you are a parent of a leader, they have an extra responsibility to meet after rehearsals and you can expect them to be dismissed within 15-20 minutes after the rehearsal ends.
