I was amazed by the turnout at Saturday’s showcase, and impressed by our students as usual. I also can’t wait to see how much they improve by the first game. If you were at the showcase, then you heard my lovely improvised speech on volunteering with NOBOB. As I said then, what we need most is help, help, and more help. I love fundraisers where we can spread some of the financial burden outside of our band community. By running the concession booths at the sporting events, and at the Homecoming Festival, we are able to do just that. Please consider signing up for one or more of our events to help us out.
