You know its Marching Band Season when you get emails from the NOBOB Board asking for volunteers. We have several upcoming events that we will be needing the assistance of volunteers. This is all easy and fun stuff. It is also a great way to meet other Band parents and the students.
Picture Day is on Friday, August 19. For the first time this Band Season, the entire Band needs to be in full uniform for pictures. For many students, this is the first time that they will be “dressing for inspection,” which means full uniform (including all the pieces and parts that make up the uniform). In order to pull this off, we need parent volunteers to help. You can sign up to volunteer at the link below:

Homecoming Festival: The Homecoming Festival is the following week. As a fundraiser, we sell beverages and our “famous” roasted corn on the cob. If you can donate a couple of hours, we have a multitude of activities, starting with set-up on Wednesday, August 24, working the booth on Thursday through Sunday and tear-down on Sunday evening, August 28.
Students can sign up with their parents to help for all booth activities, except for Sunday Booth Volunteer.
