Building a tradition of musical excellence

Marching Band Uniform Information

This year has been busy, fun and interesting. Last week, we did get the mock-up of the new Band uniform and it was modeled for the other students at last week’s Band practices. The students were overwhelmingly enthusiastic over the new uniform.

The 2017 Marching Band will soon be measured and the new uniforms will be ordered. It takes months for the new uniforms to be made and delivered. We are hoping that the new uniforms will be delivered in time for the beginning of the 2017 Marching Band season. To that end, the old uniforms will be retained and maintained until the new uniforms are in place. We have yet to decide what will be done with the old uniforms.

Thanks to everyone who has participated in our recent fundraisers (Dave & Busters and Chick-Fil-A). We also want to thank the North Olmsted Board of Education for fronting NOBOB the balance of the needed funds so the purchase of the uniforms for the 2017 Marching Band season could be completed in a timely manner.

Nevertheless, we must still continue to raise funds to pay for the uniforms, repay the Board, plan for future purchases and continue to fund the other activities that benefit the North Olmsted music programs.

NOBOB is a 501(c)(3) organization and donations made to NOBOB can be taken as a charitable donation. Many employers provide matching funds for donations. If your employer makes matching donations, checks can be made payable to NOBOB (and mailed to NOBOB c/o North Olmsted High School, 27301 Butternut Ridge Road) or made through PayPal at eaglemusic.org.
